Magic or Magick Spells
Magic is often spelled magick to differentiate it from magic as performed by stage magicians.
Magic powers are frequently associated with Witchcraft or Vodun.
Spells can be cast to affect yourself, an inanimate object, a force of nature, or another person. It is said to be easier to cast a spell on yourself than on someone else. A spell cast on another is said to affect the caster as well. A spell is sometimes said to affect the caster three times as much as the target. A more powerful spell may actually affect the caster nine times as much as the target. Experts warn novices to be careful with that strong magick.
Tools used for casting spells in Witchcraft often represent earth, air, fire, water, and spirit. A common set of tools would be pentagrams, incense, candles, water, and earth.
Air may be represented by incense. The incense scent may be important to the specific spell.
Fire may be represented by a candle flame. Candle color is very important to most spells. Black and white candles are the most commonly needed in magick.
Water may be represented by water. The water should be in a special chalice or other container if specified by the spell.
Earth may be represented by earth. The earth could be in a special bag, box, pot, or other container. Earth might also be represented by a plant growing in soil in a pot. Earth might also be represented by one or more crystals.
Spirit may be represented by something special to the caster, and like all elements is best if relevant to the spell.
A pentagram may sometimes represent all 5 elements of earth, air, fire, water and spirit. A pentagram is a 5 sided star drawn with all of the lines shown. A pentacle is a pentagram inside a circle. Spells may be done on a mat or cloth with a pentacle on it, or on the ground with a pentacle drawn with chalk or another medium.
Other tools common in Witchcraft are altars, cauldrons, salt, and herbs or other botanicals, crystals, and incantations. Altars are said to be a personal working space and can be anywhere meaningful to the Witch. Cauldrons are typically used for mixing or melting ingredients. The salt, herbs, and other botanicals are used as needed for each individual spell. Obtaining the correct herb or botanical is crucial to successful magick. Crystals can be used to help focus your energy for the spell. Also of extreme importance is the incantation, or what is said. Some incantations are passed from Witch to Witch. Others may be created by a Witch as a special need arises.
Perhaps the most important ingredient of the spell is the Witch. It is thought by some that "pure intent" of the Witch is the only thing necessary for successful spell casting.
Some Witches feel that "A spell is a prayer to the God or Goddess." I have heard this most often from Witches who belong to Wicca. However, not all Wiccans may feel this is true.
Some spells may require a certain number of individuals, perhaps more than one. This is one reasons Witches form groups or Covens. Witches also join Covens for sharing of knowledge, support, and companionship.
Witches may save their spells in a book called a "Book of Shadows" or a "Grimoire". After casting each spell, exact rendering of the spell and the results are recorded. Any potentially useful data should be included. The time of day, date, weather, incantation used, lunar cycle, what Witches were present, or anything unusual should be written, drawn, or pasted into the book. The book and the Witch's personal power grow together. In this way Witches have their own array of magic tailored to their own special powers and needs. This tuning and revision explains why spells with the same goal can vary considerably from Witch to Witch and Coven to Coven.
In Voodoo or African religions a fetish may be used in a magic spell. The fetish itself is just an object and can be anything from a twig to a skull. In a ritual the fetish becomes a vessel for a spirit, which will perform a certain task. Once the task is completed the spirit leaves the fetish. The fetish then becomes an ordinary object again.
Spells to help are sometimes called "white magic" while spells to hurt are called "black magic". Getting rid of a sickness in yourself or someone else could be considered white magic. Inflicting a sickness on someone else could be considered black magick. Asking a demon or evil spririt for assistance with a spell is probably getting into black magic.
Most spells cast are not meant to hurt or help others. Spells cast on inanimate objects, forces of nature, or plants are usually not black or white magic. These can be called grey magic, or not categorized as black, white, grey or any color.
Some are adamant in saying that magic is not any color. They insist that magic is energy and magic is only a tool. Magical energy can not be inherently good or evil, black or white.

My friend showed me to this spell caster on templeofancientancestors@gmail.com and I didn't think it would work. I did a love spell that I wanted fall in love with this boy named Aj. The spell caster said that the spell would be cast at 9 P.M. I was at a friends house later that night and me and Aj were texting though he was an old friend but never talked to well. I know how most of these people feel. I too agree that making someone do something against their will is wrong, but my problem is a little different. The relationship I was in was probably one of the best things that ever happened to me. My ex broke up with me and I learned a lot of things -He still loves me, very deeply but he's a very stubborn man. And rather than work on our relationship he prefers to make the both of us suffer that much more. If I could get a spell, that would open up his mind to some suggestion, make him realize how selfish he's being or just give him the desire to work on our relationship again that'd be awesome. I am interested in attracting friends with common interest into my life. Is there a spell to help with this. I have never practiced magic but have always believed. I have always had this feeling it is a part of me but I haven't had any experiences that I am aware of. |

There's some fantastic stuff in here, including detailed directions for Initiations and Sabbat Rituals. |

I am interested in how to use white magic to help people. My friend is able to do a whole of things such as change the way how people think, change street lights, helping the sick, and is able to levitate. How exactly do you levitate? It seems that my step mother who I am no longer in contact with put a spell on me to get inside my head. She is now currently in my head and I have no explanation how this is possible. She sees and hears everything I do. I can see her memories and I can even feel her memories. Her intent is to kill me. I don't know what to do. I can strong evidence of this. I have taken a roll of pictures and in these picture I look exactly like her right down to her bone structure. We are not even related and I don't believe this is possible yet but I guess it is. It completely justifies my faith in God and in Jesus Christ. I've seen psychics and they tell she has performed black magic on me. I need help in figuring out what spell this is and how to either reverse it so that the spell is on her and causes her thrice the damage she's done to me or another spell to separate us. |

i got married 3 months ago and my wife left me a month ago. well ive been going to this one woman who is anti-blackmagic, so she tells me not to use it. but yesterday on the internet i found this spell where you can get someone to call you. now, i dont know if its black or white magic and if its making the person call you on purpose. i mean , could this spell do something to me or my family if it backfires?

Your site is great! I would appreciate your help. I was involved with someone, we split up last summer. He still called occasionally, but never followed through on any definite plans. After many months of this I decided to cast a few spells to encourage him to come back. He called the next day with definite plans for the following evening. He called the next morning the cancel due to work. Not unusual for him though. He hasn't called back since. I don't know if this was all just a coincidence or my spells worked. If they worked, I don't know why they would have reacted that way. I am very confused and worried. What I probably need now is a spell to reverse the spells I've done. To return him to his free will if this is the case.I heard there is a reversal spell. If you know of one please let me know. I feel that I should do a spell like that, but also to keep his free will as it was if he was serious about the date and all of this is just a coincidence. I would appreciate any help you can give me. I have no peace of mind. Thank you. |
