Saint Louis Cemetery Number One is a famous cemetery in New Orleans with above ground tombs for the dead. Founded in 1789 the cemetery may have as many as 100,000 deceased residents, with most tombs occupied by a great number of bodies.

Among the most famous residents said to haunt the grounds is Marie Laveau, the famous Voudou priestess, who may be among those in the Glapion family crypt.
