Stephenie Meyer

Stephenie Meyer is the author of the Twilight Saga, featuring Isabella "Bella" Swan, a teenage girl, and Edward a vampire. While these books are a sort of love story, they do not have "racy" scenes.

In an interview with Amazon.com for Twilight, Ms. Meyer said that while she read very little other vampire literature, her favorite was Anne Rice's The Vampire Lestat. She had never read Bram Stoker's Dracula, although she meant to someday. She had never seen an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Angel.

The Host is not a part of the Twilight Saga, and is about Earth being invaded by aliens who are controlling human minds.
