Ogopogo of Lake Okanagan

Ogopogo is the name of the lake monster that inhabits Lake Okanagan in British Columbia, Canada. The creature is somewhat eel-like in appearance with a flatter head. It is from 15 to 20 feet in length. It has been reported since at least the early 1900s. It may have been sighted by precolonial Indians who described "the N'haaitk" in the lake. There are inconclusive photos of the creature. The creature has been reported by a great many people. Some hypothesize the Ogopogo may be a surviving prehistoric plesiosaur.

Read that backwards. My late father has a poetry book that I really want to publish. It is called The Knotty Serpent. It is about OGOPOGO. The Illustrator is Joan Shaw. I have a few copies. They make great colouring books. Ghost.

My dad said he had an encounter with the "Ogopogo" heres what happened:

He was water skiing with a friend in the oconogin lake, when all of a sudden a huge wave flipped him off his skis when he got up and the mist cleared there was nothing in sight that could have made a wave like that so it must have been THE OGOPOGO. (dun dun daaaaa)
