Future Predicting and Fortune Telling

Perhaps as long as humans have been on Earth they have wanted to know what the future would bring. This has resulted in diverse methods to predict the future. Predicting the future is sometimes called fortune telling.

Tarot cards are decks of cards used to answer questions asked by an individual. The cards are dealt out, and each card has a specific meaning.

Talking Boards or Ouija Boards are boards used to communicate with spirits.

A crystal ball is a large round crystal or glass ball. Seers are said to be able to look into the ball and see the future.

Astrology is determining an individuals personal trends and future events based on their place and date of birth.

Numerology takes a persons name and uses a system to turn that name into number(s). These numbers can be compared to other people, objects, or anything to determine trends and compatibilites.

Palm Reading determines a persons personal trends and future events based on the creases in the palms of their hands.

Some say you can tell a person's future by observing the leaves in the bottom of a cup of tea after the person has consumed the tea. This is referred to as reading tea leaves.
