When I was a kid pumpkin carving was pretty simple. Using a vegetable knife you carved a face with triangles or circles for the eyes and nose, and a jagged curve for the mouth. Lately I have seen that pumpkin carving has gone to elaborate stencils and carving tools. I, however, still use a classic pattern when I carve a pumpkin. Here are some simpler designs for those of you who carve pumpkins as I do.
Kids please have adult supervision when using knives to carve pumpkins or anything else!
